How To Order

Thank you for visiting our website. The following paragraphs offer guidance on how to find product areas or specific products easily and quickly, and if you have found what you are looking for, how to successfully place an order.

Finding Products

Browsing The Product Catalogue by Category

Our product catalogue contains thousands of product lines that cover a vast number styles, applications and functions. In order to find a product area you may be interested in quickly, the Catalogue is divided into Categories which always appear listed on the left side of your screen wherever you may be on the website. By clicking on a category it will expand to reveal a list of relevant subcategories. You can either choose to browse the entire contents of the main category via thumbnail images which are listed alphabetically by range name (this can be changed by selecting options in the ‘Sort By’ field), or click on a subcategory which list the items in that sub category only.

Clicking on a thumbnail will reveal the Product Information Page for that item. You can view detailed product descriptions, specifications and dimensions. If the product is part of a larger range of items, thumbnail images for those items will also appear on the bottom of this page. Clicking on the image of the product at this stage will open a much larger image.

Finding Items With The Search Facility

If you have any reference numbers or range names for items that you have seen elsewhere, you can type these into the search bar which is situated toward the top left of the screen. If we have items which match the search reference they will be displayed with thumbnail images.

 

Placing An Order Online

Shopping Basket

If you wish to order an item click on the desired thumbnail image to open the Product Information Page. Below the item price you will find the quantity box which is automatically set to one. Enter the quantity required and click the ‘Add To Basket’ button.

Toward the top right of the screen the box called ‘Basket’ now shows you the number of items you have ordered and the total Basket value.

If you wish to view or modify what you have placed in the basket click ‘View Basket’. You can modify the Basket contents right up until click the ‘Place Order’ button in the Checkout area.

Checkout

When you are ready to submit your order you must go to the ‘Checkout’ area which is accessed directly from the Basket box or from the View Basket area. You will be required to submit your details if you are a new customer, or to log in if you are an existing customer. You will be given a final opportunity to modify the items you are about to order and prompted to read our terms and conditions of sale before submitting you payment details. We will also ask you briefly if you have placed an order as a result of visiting one of our showrooms by clicking a button. Finally clicking the ‘Place Order’ button submits the order to us.

You will receive an email acknowledgement of your order shortly afterwards

As we do not collect payment from you until the day your order is dispatched we are able to amend your order up until this time. If you are worried that your submitted order may not be right, call or email us as soon as possible and we will correct any errors for you provided that it has not been already dispatched.

Out Of Stock Items

If for any reason we are unable to process your order because one or more items are not in stock we will contact you by email the following working day advising you of an estimated time the goods will be available for dispatch. You will have the opportunity to cancel all or part of the order or keep it open for dispatch when the goods become available. If you do not reply to an out of stock notification within 14 days we will cancel the order automatically, although we will always attempt to contact you by any means necessary before doing so.

My Account

You can view your order history including the status of current orders in the My Account area. You can also notify us of any damaged goods you may have received or any returns you might need to make in the My Account area. Please note that access to My Account requires Log In.

Placing An Order By Telephone

Customers are welcome to place order by telephone either via the Customer Helpline which always appears in the top right of all web pages, or by contacting one of our stores directly via the Our Stores Page. Please kindly note the following restrictions to service when ordering by telephone:

  • Customers wishing to pay by card over the telephone and collect in store will be charged an initial 20% of the order value with the outstanding balance to be paid in store on collection via Chip and Pin. If an order is modified by the customer prior to collection we will refund the original deposit on collection of the modified order and recharge the full amount in store via Chip and Pin.
  • Customers requiring delivery of an order paid by telephone are advised that we can only deliver to the cardholder's registered address.
